SHOOTING with VALENTIN GUILLOD

Posted by david@ukiyo | Five, Riders

A few days after he clinched his first GP victory in Spain, the FIVE team met with Valentin GUILLOD on the beautiful track of Puymeras, South of France, surrounded by grape vines, to shoot a video presenting the great features of our MXF Pro Rider motocross glove. Behind the camera, Raphael SAUZE and Arnaud SCIUS took all the risks to capture amazing images. The film will be soon online, right here. Here are a few shots from behind the scene.

Valentin GUILLOD / 2nd Podium and 7th overall !

Posted by david@ukiyo | Riders

The final event of the Motocross MX2 World Championship took place in Mexico, in León, sixth metropolis of the country, and allowed Valentin Guillod to finish the season on a high note. The FIVE rider was offered his second podium of the season, taking third place in the Grand Prix. Valentin completes this long global campaign in seventh place overall.

“It’s great to end the season like that, I wanted a second podium because I enjoyed the first one so much. The weekend was better than in Brazil, even if I did not have a good feeling on this track. You had to be pretty aggressive with the bike because it was losing power with altitude, as I like to ride on the engine torque. In the first race I finished sixth, I took too long to put myself in the rhythm, but in the second I have managed to sneak early in the race to take a moment to lead the race and finish second. The GP season has passed really quickly, I would like to thank all of those who are behind me, family, friends, team and sponsors”
