The third round of the MXGP World Championship took place on the sandy layout of Valkenswaard, and with some showers the track was even worst than usual. Valentin Guillod confirmed his progress in the sand with a twelfth position in the first race, but crashed at the start of the second one. He came back from last to sixteen, and is currently eleventh in the standings before the South American trip (Argentina and Mexico).
