Understanding the FIVE motorcycle range
As a true glove specialist, FIVE has developed a complete collection, with the aim of offering you a glove model adapted to YOUR own motorcycle riding. After all, you don't wear the same type of glove depending on whether you ride a motorcycle on the track, on the road, in town or off-road. Likewise, weather conditions - rain, cold, wind, heat - can influence the type of gloves you wear.
Just as there are several types of motorcycle, our collection is organized by type (also called family, category or range).

RACING
The RACING category is for those who ride a sporty motorcycle or speed motorcycle , on the circuit, for leisure or in competition, but also on the open road, looking for the best compromise between comfort, protection, handlebar sensitivity and high performance.
With 3 sub-categories:
- RACING PERFORMANCE: for those who ride motorcycle on the track or on the road and who value performance and a high level of protection. They were developed with our official FIVE riders, who hold numerous world championship titles.
- RACING SPORT: for those who drive a sporty motorcycle on the road and prefer comfort without neglecting protection.
- RACING WP: for those who ride their sporty motorcycle on the road, even when it's raining, and prefer the waterproofing of high-performance gloves.
STREET
The STREET category is for those who ride their motorcycle, roadsters, supermotos or maxi-scooters, in town or on the road, on short or medium trips, and who prefer protection, preferring short-sleeved motorcycle gloves with numerous protective shells, right down to the palm.
With 3 sub-categories:
- STREET PERFORMANCE: for those who want a short, protective motorcycle glove, with sharp, dynamic shells that reflect their personality and committed riding style.
- STREET SPORT: for those who want a short, protective motorcycle glove with sleek shells that reflect an active, sporty lifestyle.
- STREET WP: for those who ride motorcycle even in the rain and want a glove focused on comfort, protection and waterproofing.
URBAN
The URBAN category is aimed at riders of two-wheelers, motorcycle or scooters, in urban and suburban environments, for short and medium distances, who prefer elegance and discretion without ever neglecting protection.
The range includes motorcycle summer gloves, motorcycle mid-season waterproof gloves (URBAN WP), motorcycle winter gloves (URBAN WINTER) and battery-heated gloves (URBAN HG).
In this category, the focus is on style, and these gloves are a great match for everyday wear. It's for anyone who rides a motorcycle , but doesn't want to look like an "over-equipped biker", preferring to adopt urban fashion-inspired dress codes.
CUSTOM
The CUSTOM category is for enthusiasts of vintage, custom or neo-retro motorcycle inspired by the past. Café racer, bobber, scrambler, chopper, all influences are represented.
It includes gloves with a strong emphasis on leather and authenticity, as well as models linked to the heritage of motorcycle sports.
TRAIL ADVENTURE
The Trail Adventure category is aimed at adventurers who ride Trail motorcycle for long-distance travel on roads and freeways, but also off-road, on trails and even in rugged off-road conditions, with motorcycles that are often tall and imposing, equipped with a large fuel tank and plenty of luggage.
These gloves are designed to withstand the elements (rain, wind, heat), to provide sufficient protection in the event of a fall on asphalt, but also to be comfortable in the upright position, which is common in trail-adventure riding, on trails, dirt tracks, when crossing paths or fords.
They feature supple protection and large aramid anti-abrasion inserts (instead of the shells found on our road models) on the palm, as well as nature-inspired colors.
TOURING
The TOURING category is aimed at long-distance motorcycle travellers, using only asphalt on the road network (freeway, trunk road, departmental or secondary road).
These gloves focus on rider comfort during long hours at the handlebars, resistance to bad weather (rain, wind, etc.), protection in the event of a fall on the asphalt, and durability to accompany the traveling biker as far and as long as possible.
They are designed for comfort and efficiency over long distances in the seated position, and feature practical navigation features (such as operating a GPS or smartphone screen without removing the glove, or easily wiping the visor of your helmet while riding...).
WINTER
The WINTER category includesFIVE gloves with thermal insulation and a breathable waterproof membrane, designed for riding motorcycle (or scooters) in urban or road conditions in winter. These can be short-sleeved motorcycle gloves or long-sleeved motorcycle gloves, or simply "winter motorcycle gloves".
Their aim is to cope as comfortably as possible with the elements of cold, wind, rain and snow, and to address the risks inherent in winter traffic conditions, made more difficult when riding a two-wheeler.
Depending on the model and its technical features, they are designed for urban or city bikers, but also for road bikers, adventurers or frequent travelers who don't hesitate to use their two-wheelers in winter.
They're designed to help you ride a motorcycle in winter, without getting cold hands, and to keep your hands dry by repelling the moisture that accentuates the sensation of cold. They're designed to be extremely protective against cold, rain or falls. In short, they're designed to outwit the many pitfalls of winter on a motorcycle.
HEAT TECHNOLOGY
The HEAT TECHNOLOGY category includes motorcycle winter gloves heated by an integrated battery or by a cable connected to the motorcycle. Thanks to their electric resistance heating system covering the upper surface of the hand down to the tips and inside the first phalanx of the fingers, they keep the hands "warm" and delay the effects of the cold during motorcycle trips in the coldest temperatures.
These gloves all feature high-performance thermal insulation to protect against the cold, and a breathable waterproof membrane to keep hands dry. They have all the features of a good motorcycle winter glove, plus electric heating!
WOMAN
The WOMAN category includes all our motorcycle gloves for women bikers. It includes gloves similar to men's motorcycle gloves, with women's specific features in size, design or color, as well as gloves exclusively for women.

OFF-ROAD
The OFF-ROAD category includes gloves dedicated to off-road motorcycle , in two sub-categories: motocross gloves and enduro gloves.
MOTOCROSS gloves are designed for use on closed motocross circuits, in training or competition. They are designed for sporting performance and to offer perfect motorcycle control and total freedom of movement, through a design and construction aimed at providing a "second-skin" effect and the sensation of wearing nothing at all. They are designed exclusively for use on natural motocross tracks, in mud, dust, sand, pebbles, etc., or on stadium dirt tracks such as supercross.
